It's perhaps the darkest secret of Syria's civil war. According to a study by the UN refugee agency, sexual violence against men and boys has been used as a weapon of war. Some of the victims are as young as 10, the oldest over 80. Celine Schmitt, the UNHCR spokesperson in France, tells us more about the harrowing 82-page report. Also, six months ago, Iraq's Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi declared victory over Islamic State group forces in Mosul. In the eastern part of the city, life is slowly returning to normal, as residents reopen shops and move freely around their neighbourhoods. In the west, however, all that remains is a crumpled landscape, with hardly a single building intact.

Finally, we'll take you to the southeastern corner of Turkey, near the border with Iraq. In the mountainous Hakkari district, authorities are offering ski lessons to children from underprivileged families.
