The time has arrived to look at the most famous Bretonnian of all time, Gilles Le Breton. From his “humble” beginnings as a dragon slayer he quickly forms a crusading army to free the lands of bretonnia from the Greenskins (though the Norscans, Beastmen and Undead make an appearance).. With their first victory banked we follow his ultimate road trip around the dukedoms, freeing each in turn and expanding the Grall Companions each blessed by the Lady of the Lake. We look at the various deeds of each companion and the lengths Bretonnian history goes to to ensure that the companions' armies are never really mentioned. We discuss the Lady’s comprehensive powers of disguise and the true horror unleashed by Fredemund the Falconer.

We cast our eyes back to the prehistory of Bretonnia and look at the exodus from the Southlands that led to the land's population and the challenges they faced there… mostly in shades of green. We take a sharp turn and talk about the Reman Empire for the first time and its influence and reason for creation. We then take a further step into the past to the fabled city of Tylos, detailing its rise as an agricultural centre, its friendly trade relations with a wandering Dwarf clan, and its fall through cultural arrogance or perhaps a malign influence from another reality. Ultimately Dhar blows the socks off the lads with a long kept revelation.

We continue our cultural introduction to Bretonnia with a view of their relations with other human nations and the Wood Elves of Athel Loren. We then turn to the seas to look at their naval power, ports and their claim to be the greatest sailors in the Old World. Feudal Hierarchy of Bretonnia from the noble ranks of knights to the role (and miserable lot) of Bretonnian serfs. We close out the episode with a dive into the sumptuary laws that the Nobles use to control the serfs and the roles and traditions that protect/oppress the noble women of the land. In this our final episode on the warriors of Chaos we take a dive into the tabletop version of the army. We start with the core troops available to all chaos tribes and then expand out to include the more specialised and godbound troop types such as the comical Wrathmongers and the swift Hellstriders. We start with a brief look at Vardek Crom and Kordel Shorgaar, the chief lieutenant and standard bearer of Archaon respectively. This episode we focus our attention on the dread Changer of Ways, Tzeentch and his love of corruption and subversion of the status quo. We touch on the corruption of magic users and the extensive use the forces of Tzeentch have of chaos cults and their bestial cousins, the Tzangor, before diving into the Armies of Tzeentch and units such as the Silver Knights of Tzeentch and the fearsome Mutalith Vortex Beast. We turn our attention to the champions of Tzeentch, namely the tragic rise of Melekh and the plant blooming journey of Aekold Helbrass. We close out the episode with the schemes of Egrimm van Horstmann, his various alliances with the dark powers and the event that triggered his fall into the clutches of Tzeentch ... as planned.

Continuing our dive into the chaos gods and their champions, it is the turn of the martial  blood god Khorne. We start with an existential conversation on what drives mortals to become his champions and their violent relationship with other champions, using the former Knight of the Blazing Suns, Slaurith, as a prime example. We turn our attention to the murderous cultists of Khorne and the blood gods strained and confusing stance on magic. We dive into the continuing adventures of Aarball the Undefeated and his enormous flesh hound mount (Gabby). We explore the tale of Valkia the Bloody, the "Shield-Maiden of Khorne", a fearsome champion and consort of Khorne. We close the episode with a “when Khorne goes bad” tale of Scyla Anfingrimm, glorious chaos champion turned chaos spawn after one to many reward-naps.
