Judgment not out of hatred but love. The people may follow their own paths both privately and in Judah. This also may encompass following other Gods. His Watchmen are Blind as were the political leadership and the Levitical priesthood. In fact, both houses, here the Northern Tribes or Israel and Judah fell prey to wickedness. As modern America and the nations embrace their own idolatry, we see today that the evil ways of the nations are good and the old ways, the righteous ways are evil. This is what Israel did and they paid for it. Yet as we see the end of days approach, the evil is not stopped but is growing as the dark one approaches. But the clues found in Isaiah gives us an accurate picture and imagery of the mess that Israel faced.

His Watchmen are Blind and the #leaders who #shepherd them had no understanding. Everything is #governed by #power, #prestige, and #money. If you had money or power, then you could buy your way as you lived your life. The goal was not #righteousness. It was a #self-consuming #idolatry that threw out God and instead set up a user-friendly law and the temple was #defiled along with the priests. As the #wickedness increased the righteous were the targets and many were sacrificed on the altar of this new and improved idolatry that swept #Israel. Isaiah has given to #Judah the #truth and the #hopeofredemption is failing fast as the state of man and those who govern him do not understand. Of Such is #America and the #Nationsofmen today! The question is who can wake them up?

His watchmen are blind: they are all ignorant, they are all dumb dogs, they cannot bark; sleeping, lying down, loving to slumber. If we as believers focus on the task ahead, let us not be discouraged by the sin, debauchery, and glorification of those who practice unclean things. For they are in the dark and we must seek to bring them into the light of the Lord and help them to find redemption and sonship. Many Christians work to do this, even in the most persecuted of areas. Yet we find the results and the miraculous in the most arduous of persecuted places. Even as many work to take control of this Global World, the push to herald the Global Gospel will not stop.

Persecutions, afflictions, which came unto me at Antioch, at Iconium, at Lystra; what persecutions I endured: but out of them all the Lord delivered me. Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution. But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.
