  • Episode 30 - Invasion of the Body Snatchers (Part 2)
We're back this week finishing off the back half of Invasion of the Body Snatchers (1978). If you are just now joining us, you can listen in as we watch all our favorite characters catch the space herp. We learn that surviving an alien invasion can teach a person how to manage their meds for the perfect post-apocalyptic buzz. As the crew argues about whether or not to accept the rule of our alien overlords, we reel in horror when a damaged pod squirts out some nightmare fuel.

  • Episode 29 - Invasion of the Body Snatchers (Part 1)
Fresh off the high we got from completing our first season of Star Trek, the crew is rewarded with a viewing of Invasion of the Body Snatchers (1978). We find out that the sexiest profession of the late 70's was "Health Inspector". Erin is the first to notice Leonard Nimoy's infamous half-glove. Everyone swoons for young Jeff Goldblum as we settle in for a therapeutic mud bath. Since the movie lives behind a pay wall, beyond the realm of Netflix, and is far too long for our format, this episode has been edited and will not fully sync with the film. Sad Face.

  • Episode 28 - Operation: Annihilate!
We've officially made it to the final episode of Star Trek's first season. The crew reflects on our journey so far, looking back in shame at how our earlier episodes are terrible, and feeling a sense of pride at how we're now slightly less terrible. Special Guest Luis recounts his romantic "iPod in Paris" trip. We sing out in a chorus of pinched nerves, and, finally, we cast the reboot of "The Original Series" of Star Trek with Meryl Streep and Daniel Day-Lewis.

  • Episode 27 - The City on the Edge of Forever
It's a real bad case of the Mondays for Bones and Joan Collins this week on Warped. We kick things off by getting a little too close to Too Close for Comfort. We toss a few back in memory of Harlan Ellison. The crew just can't agree on their stance towards Death Race 2050. Shawn goes all in on a game of Star Trek Title Trivia. And, finally, we look forward to the shows and movies we won't get to for another 10 years of podcasting.

  • Episode 26 - The Alternative Factor
One of the lowest-rated episodes from The Original Series may be very hard for watching, but that just makes it more fun for listening. The compelling performance of our favorite character, "Screenie," is not enough to distract us from some really clunky narrative choices. Shawn rants about the inconvenience of a ridiculous mustache. We make an ill-advised plea for crotch-related user feedback. The crew decides to change the channel and watch Bewitched, instead.

  • Episode 25 - Errand of Mercy
Special guest Minh joins us for the show's first appearance of Klingons. Matt gets knighted among the peasants in the Wild West, while everyone else puts a down-payment on a 2 bedroom, 1-1/2 dungeon castle. Phillipe proves that Clint Eastwood supports the socks-with-sandals look with a skit. The answers to this week's nonexistent quiz are: Space Elf, Pure Energy, and Costa Mesa Chamber of Commerce.

  • Episode 23 - This Side of Paradise
This week on Warped, confetti-spewing flowers are the highlight of our week. Shawn takes a deep draw from his mint julep before trying to figure out why Bones changes his voice. Matt details the naissance of modern Fan Fiction and its roots in Star Trek. And, yes, we do perform some of our world famous bits as a service to our fans.

  • Episode 22 - A Taste of Armageddon
We all sit down to watch Shawn's favorite episode of The Original Series. Everyone agrees that we would rather jump into a disintegration chamber than spend one minute alone with this episode's Ambassador character. Matt gives his review of the movie, The Greatest Showman, to the soundtrack of Shawn crying like a wee baby. Jake improvises a song from Disney's hit show, Zombies, which he has never seen.

  • Episode 21 - Space Seed
Despite its importance in the Star Trek canon, the temptation to make sophomoric jokes about this episode's title proves to be too great for our collective maturity level. Erin questions the practicality of theoretical 90's fashion and attempts to replicate Khan's hairstyle for science. Brief streaming issues prompt the crew to perform their best impression of the dial-up modem experience. Jake starts to justify Star Trek writer logic with his voluminous RPG knowledge.

  • Episode 20 - The Return of the Archons
In this week's episode, the crew argues the merits of sexual rampage while under the influence of a glorified Apple IIe. Phillipe and Erin get into a heated discussion regarding their neighborhood cats.  The ending of the actual Star Trek episode is not enough hold our attention as we have what is perhaps one of the finest conversations about Short Circuit 2 ever recorded. Also, this episode is surprisingly useful for people trying to understand more about cryptocurrency.
