What does the legal selling and distribution of cannabis have to do with rare and limited edition LOL dolls? They are both passions that fuel a person to see something as elite in their lives. Such was a case with a buddy of Garrett's that went surfing with him the morning this podcast was created, as well as the obsession his youngest daughter Ruby currently has with LOL dolls. There's an appeal that comes from pursuing that which activates our passions that helps us create a life that matters. Ultimately, the status of "elite" and "rare" is in the mind of the beholder.

While Garrett was taking his Lamborghini in to get serviced, he needed his son to follow him to the dealership so that he had a ride back while it was getting tightened. After a few minutes of getting to the dealership, he realized that this would be a perfect opportunity for Parker to drive the Aventador himself, and so he gave him the keys and was able to see a mirror of the enjoyment that he feels on a regular basis driving his dream car. It also made him realize that sometimes we experience even greater joy in seeing others enjoyment than going through the experience ourselves.

Float tanks have been a very therapeutic experience for Garrett to do on a regular basis, though a few sessions in a row he felt himself getting overheated and feeling stifled while in the tank. It wasn't until he was in the Quiet Room of the Float Easy facility that he read a sign on their information screen that recommended taking cooler showers to avoid overheating inside of the tank. This reminder was all that he needed to turn his underwhelming experience around to the point that he felt more like a creamed up stick of butter afterwards. Sometimes we inhibit ourselves from achieving our desired results by not following the instructions that have been clearly laid out for us.

While celebrating some family birthday parties, Garrett witnessed others drinking cheap, canned wine while choosing to abstain for his no-alcohol challenge he's given himself, and saw the after effects the following day from those that drank it with massive headaches. What seemed like a small decision led to a massive consequence. What seemed like a small decision at the time led to a massive consequence showing us that seemingly inconsequential decisions ultimately have a large impact on the bigger picture.

Garrett spilled his green smoothie in his car before launching into a busy day of production, and despite all the progress he's made in his life to continually operate from a place of power, there's a part of him when shit goes sideways that goes immediately into victim mode. It's at this time that he can either continue to whine and complain, or he can ask for help, which he had to learn how to do when Plan A requires another look at B, C or D. There are people in our lives that can help us get through the inevitable shit that comes up which throws us off our game that can help us course correct back to where we want to be, which is in fully functioning power.
