The New York Yankees traded for Oakland A’s starter Frankie Montas and reliever Lou Trivino in exchange for pitchers JP Sears, Ken Waldichuk, Luis Medina, and infielder Cooper Bowman. Now, Frankie Montas, after making only eight starts with the Yankees in a season and a half, has signed with the Cincinnati Reds for one year/$16M. Stacey and Steve discuss the Montas trade, all the components, and what happened to all the players, and they try to see if anyone won the deal. Spoiler alert: no. Was it a bad trade at the time?
