David Eickholt joins us for the final time this year. After helping us recap the weekly press conference every Wednesday this season David joins one final time to give us a status update on where Iowa is in the portal season that has taken over early December across CFB. What positions are of most need for the Hawkeyes, and do we fill those with players from the portal or guys already in Black and Gold? How big are the Hawkeyes willing to go for a QB in this portal cycle and what is the allocation outlook relative to other important positions of need? What's the status of this Hank Brown from Auburn, and is he the only QB the Hawks want to bring in? And who will return for a final year in Iowa City that could be huge pieces for next years roster? All of this and more.

Fresh off of Conference Championship weekend and we now know where the Hawkeyes will spend Christmas. Iowa will face Missouri in the Music City bowl in Nashville, and we try to preview the matchup at surface level, and ponder what we could be excited to see considering the landscape of how bowls work in modern day. We have a huge discussion around the CFP selections, what they got right and wrong, what system would be best, and how long this current system will stay in place. How big does the playoff eventually get? We also discuss how we would divvy out NIL money in the Hawks position this off season, and a whole lot more.

We are back for another 5-10-5 with Coach Lima. Today we start with some discussion about the all time athletes that came through Iowa during our time, we touch on all of the Hate Week fireworks from the previous weekend and if the antics from players and teams is avoidable at all? To end the discussion we discuss what a 'Culture Win' means, and why a team like Nebraska continues to lose one score ball games.

On tonight's show we discuss all the hot topics of this week in Iowa Football. The portal season starts hot with Cade McNamara reentering leaving Stratton and Sullivan as a thin group of options for a room that is seeking answers. The Hawks have been rumored as potential landing spots for several higher profile transfers already, and we discuss the possibility of those. We also dive into the roster limits that are coming to college football, how that affected this years signing class, and how it will affect areas of the roster moving forward. KF asserted that he would be back next year as coach, and talked about some of the challenges and joys of the profession, we ponder the leash length of anyone who will inevitably fill KF's shoes and how appealing the Iowa job will be nationally. We finish with some Conference Championship betting picks in the World Famous Ward's Winners.

The Rivalry feels real now. On a 'Hate Week' Saturday in CFB that saw tempers flare across the country, the antics between Iowa and Nebraska were mild. The vibe of this matchup however has shifted and there is clear disdain between sides 15 years after the Huskers joined the B1G. We recap the walkoff winner from Drew Stevens, the pregame fireworks, the postgame interviews, baby Mahomes, and everything else.

The Hawks notched their 7th win of the season on Saturday out east against Maryland. The running game got back to their ways as KJ went for another 150 supplemented by over 100 yards from Moulton. The Defense was what we have wanted them to be all year long looking like a traditional bend dont break Iowa. Drew Stevens was lights out with the biggest game of his career going 5/5 with several from 50 +. Stratton as the QB got it done, and steered clear of any major mistakes in his first start. We try to dissect the important parts of the game, the hangover rumors and drama from the past week concerning QB and KF 'losing the locker room' and more. We talk about some of the biggest games across the country from the weekend as well and how the CFP picture continues to come into focus.
