The season hasn’t started, we don’t have a Top 25 poll and some rosters haven’t even been posted. Perfect time to pick some conference champions, right? It is definitely way too early to do that with much conviction but it’s never too early to have some fun and that’s what this episode is all about.

We were pleased to be joined by Friends of the Program Karl Barkley, Ryan Whitnable and Bob Quillman for a way too early conference champions draft. The rules are simple: make a pick in snake draft order to win a conference. Once a team in a conference is picked that conference is off the table. With five contestants, we complete eight rounds for a total of 40 conference champion predictions.

After the draft we stuck around to talk about how we would have picked the conferences that were left on the table, some picks that surprised us and which conferences we wanted no part in having to make a pick.
