Most recent Academy Awards shows have been met with tepid interest, from both us and everyone else.  Imagine our surprise when viewership was up last year, and it seems it might be up again this year.  Last year also marks a sharp decline in political race baiting from multi-millionaires.  Probably just a coincidence.
