Sometimes being a creative means being brave. Brave enough to know that you can go from using your mother’s clothespins as Lego blocks to being the Creative Director at one of the top local menswear brands to one day possibly working at Vogue.
We had an interesting conversation with the effervescent Cournelius Hector - Creative Director, Fashion Designer, Television Producer, about how courage, discipline and determination help define his creative path.

In this episode, we had the pleasure to chat with Jazz musician, Anthony Woodroffe Jr. aka Tony Paul, a saxophonist primarily, he also plays other woodwind instruments. We discuss growing up in a musical family, however, still having to make a choice to pursue his passion for music over becoming an accountant. His thoughts on formal musical education, getting over the fact that there is always going to be someone better than you are and the importance of having a growth mindset.

In this episode, we had the pleasure to chat with Creative Director René Holder. He shares how he co-founded Lab206 an animation studio right out of school. How he came to the bitter realisation that his heart was no longer invested in it, and making the decision to walk away six years later.
We also touch on how he got started and what keeps him thriving. He currently leads a team as Creative Director and sits as Vice President of TTAN; The Trinidad and Tobago Animation Network a non-profit body that strives to influence and develop policies that protect and grow, creatives in the animation industry.
Understanding the impact beyond the pixels is Renés’ goal as he strives to understand the whys and hows of a challenging creative space.

You may or may not have heard his name before, but if you love soca music, you have definitely heard his sound.
Daryl Braxton, one T&T’s most prolific music producers, chats with us about his first mega-hit with soca artiste KMC, his take on the state of the local music industry and the piece of advice he learnt from a calypso legend, that he takes with him to this day.
