The DOJ is assisting in the investigation and the sheriff's office has stated that the inmates are doing ok. Criminal charges have been filed against Fresno Police Sergeant Donnie Dinnell, stemming from an incident on Dec. 30th where he allegedly crashed a police cruiser while high on meth laced with fentanyl that he had taken by force or fear from a victim on a previous call. He is on administrative leave.
