This combination symbolizes a burst of momentum in moving forward, doing what needs to be done, and cultivating emotional maturity. The Last Quarter Moon in Cancer especially emphasizes the possibility for coming to a resolution around something you’ve been struggling with recently. Also this week, Mercury in Virgo will make aspects to Uranus, Neptune, & Pluto! This combo speaks to the possibility for fresh ideas, inspiration, catharsis, and truths being revealed. Then, Mercury will move into Libra on Thursday 9/26, representing a mental shift from purposefulness and strategy in life (Virgo) to relationships, considering your options, and finding harmony (Libra) – Mercury will be here until 10/13. We have a New Moon in Virgo happening on Monday 9/2 at 6:55pm Pacific Time at about 11 degrees of Virgo. This symbolizes a rebirth around ritual, routine, ideal images of self & other, and basically asks: why are you doing what you're doing? How does the now inform the future? Also this week, Mars in Gemini will square Neptune in Pisces to show how we can move in the flow and still get where we're going. Shortly after, Mars moves into Cancer on Wednesday 9/4. This is a shift where our capacity for action, assertiveness, and being direct (or not) becomes incredibly informed by emotions. Also this week, Mercury in Leo squares Uranus in Taurus to show flashes of insight, new info coming to you rapidly, or diverging from your norm. Mercury then moves into Virgo on Sunday 9/8 - this marks a shift to more focused thinking and you may feel that you're able to move forward after a lot of contemplation or uncertainty in August. Finally, the Sun moves into Virgo to show a conscious focus on intentionality, healing, purposefulness, values, routines & rituals, grounding into the meaning of your life. This week's astrology of August 26th - September 1st brings several astrological signatures involving Venus: the symbol of relationships, beauty, attraction, flow states, and values. Venus in Virgo will trine Uranus and oppose Neptune - this shows potential for confronting illusions or ideas which then brings sparks of new insights. After that, Venus moves into Libra on Thursday 8/29 and will be there until 9/23. Venus in Libra shifts our relational focus from intentionality and purposefulness (Virgo) to diplomacy, justice, and finding balance (Libra). Once in Libra, Venus will trine Pluto in Aquarius to correlate with experiences we may find healing via exposure of unconscious patterns. Also this week, Mercury stations direct at 21 degrees of Leo on Wednesday 8/28. This marks a transition point of our reflection process that began when Mercury stationed retrograde on 8/4. It's a time to reflect on what you've been changing in your life (or wanting to change) and why. Finally, a collective transit happens this week: Pluto moves into Capricorn on Sunday 9/1 and will be there thru 11/19/2024. This brings us back to the themes of Pluto in Capricorn from 2008 - 2023. Pluto will only be in Capricorn briefly and will move into Aquarius in November 2024 and be there until 2043. These next few months we may connect with the finality of collective experiences that have happened from 2008 to now.
