Well that didn't go to plan.
But it worked out anyway.
Made in garageband with a bunch of piano samples.
A bit longer than I planned too. But I wanted to play a bit more
Named the song after one of the characters in Hellsing, even though it doesn't quite fit. Had hoped to sing, but couldn't
I was recovering from some stuff and such, and watched the anime Hellsing while recovering. Hellsing had been recommended to me by many people when it came out in 2001, but I'm me, and when people say "OH I think you'd really like it" and continue to insist I will, my brain is like "fuck that, no." I become so stupidly obstinate. The most hilarious part is I basically dressed like a knock off Alucard back then. Yes, a dark red trench coat, round glasses, long hair but a black hat. One of my nieces mentioned she was watching it and I, of course, had to because I am sucker for my god child and will do whatever that one asks of me. I kinda hoped to make my own variant of the og opening song, because I like the jazzy feel and mumbling, but I couldn't get it together. For reasons, in part because I was recovering part and also celebrating my twin's birthday. So I'll give it another go later.
I'm currently on Hellsing Ultimate. Yeah, it took like 25 years, but all of you were right, I love it. I'm sorry I'm a dumbass.
Hopefully I do the spoiler text right for the squeamish- dental stuff.
› bodyhorror‹ bodyhorrorA bit of dental body horror, ended up pulling out a rotting root canal molar (I've complained about it for over 12 years but I was clearly not experiencing it correctly and completely wrong about it.... magically all the other issues I have related to my sinuses and neck pain are gone, almost like, it might have been the rotting tooth this whole time and I was right.), A day later, I had the rest of the rotting root removed and part of my face (the corner of my mouth) was stretched/torn because how wide I had to open/pull my mouth. So singing was not ideal, as I would rip it again. I was of course frozen, and didn't feel it when it happened. But I know skull noises I don't wanna know. And small piece of my jaw bone fell out too which is how I managed to remove the tooth myself. Sooo I'm glad it's over, because no more pain and rot taste in my mouth. No more dentists telling me it's fine, new denist was actually the most helpful and was shocked that the root canal was rotting (it shouldn't) but hoped for the best. I can also say, there's a piece of my jaw bone in parking lot near a vintage train because I was touring with family while this was going on. AND my one niece won her baseball game which is where I pulled out the tooth. You have to admit it's funny. Another niece of my was very excited about the entire thing and got to watch the slow process of the tooth slowly coming loose, spinning around, and then offered to rip it out for me. I ripped it out myself, so i wouldn't scream during the baseball game. She wanted to keep my rotting tooth/crown, which I'll probably give it to her later. I guess I'm hip with the kids that like body horror. Curious to see if it changes my singing voice, but there isn't much I can do, but accept it and move on. I'm also so glad that hell of a tooth is gone.
