i thought alot about the track this week. none of that thought showed up in the song itself. just as i was uploading this i wanted to write "i hate this, i hate you, i hate music, i hate all of this" but no, i won't write that because its not true. i have alot of fun being on this site and uploading, even if i dont really listen to as much music here as i want to.

this is a really random track and augenringemann helped finish it by rapping on it. otherwise i really like the vibe of the beat. its i feel like i want to be like jpegmafia, a producer and cornball i really liked his music of.

the song i originally wanted to upload just ate time and no idea i had with it worked so i went back to this.

so my mandra became true again - they can't be all winners.

Was messing around with this progression and trying out vocals in the recording, but couldn't quite settle on lyrics in time so this is just guitar. I found some harmonies I quite liked but definitely need to get more singing practice in and also learn more about how to record/mix vocals well. Hopefully I can revisit it in the future!

This one popped out of playing around with my new guitar and mic rig. Used one of my preferred reverbs (Line6 Particle Verb) on the guitars and played those parts. Built out the arrangement, filled in percussion and fingerdrums. Ended up with a sort of shoegazey sad slow track.

Fast and frantic EDM to play WipEpout to. Or Mario Kart, with all of the horns in in the second half. Giving it some kind of jazz fusion / big band mixed with techno vibe. It's bright and energetic with a wall of sound. I'm sure the mix could use some more loving. Made some last minute tweaks after hearing it all day. So I'm sure I'll regret those in the morning. But hey-ho, that's how it goes with the weeklybeats, doesn't it?

I just got back from my holiday in Bulgaria last night and didn’t have time to create a brand-new song. So I dug out an old track from my HDD and reworked it, mixing and arranging it in a noisy, lo-fi kind of style.

I really loved the atmosphere the song already had, so I felt there was no need to add any more instruments. I wanted to keep it minimal and let the existing mood speak for itself.

I follow Borzoi dogs on the internet and this piece is about them.  The percussion emulates their toenails clicking.  They caper down forest paths and chase each other around.  Mostly joyful, yet sometimes their glances are quite judgey and full of attitude.
