Hello, I hope you are as well as you can be!

Remixing and revisiting another older creation this week. Cleaned up, rearranged, improved mix. Didn't add many more sounds. It's a notch better, and I like this vibe enough to hang out in it for minute.

A little exhausted after being in San Francisco for work all week. Love that city. Saw some art and caught Blood Orange play, which I liked. Ate some amazing food. Work was a lot of talking about AI and how we are using it to get stuff done. I can't complain too much because it is doing a lot of work for me, a lot of it is work I'm happy to hand off. There are of course bigger questions and concerns outside the narrow scope of my work. No AI in this music though!

This one was a struuuuuggle. Main goal was just to get a piece with Push 3 leading two hardware synths (Analog 4 mk ii, Digitone ii), and turns out stuff isn't plug and play, huh? Welcome to this new world I guess :) Given more time, would have added more structure and variation.

Another quick Sunday afternoon sketch this week because life is busy busy. This is loosely based on a new melancholy BICEP demo (AIR) that dropped this week. I know I know, I didn't add some interesting vocals and the synth sound choices are a little off, but it's also kinda cool that I can hear those elements missing from my version (something that I definitely couldn't do at the start of this year). Drum break is this one from the super fun FAYT kit. I wasn't sure what to do after I made the intro+breaks, so I added some aggro drums for contrast. And then it was 30mins before the submission deadline :)

Overall pretty happy with where this has landed. I also feel like there's a lot more juice in this track, but that's a project for future me
