8 bar loop from OG Polyend Tracker, dated late 2021. Sampled some built-in fm radio. It happened to be a sea forecast, and forecast reader was telling some wind numbers and sea levels and visibility(?) of Strömmingsbådan.

Little did I know - was sure I won't come back to this loop. Weeklybeats was asking for it, so I did. The chorus is the only part that I had to come up with something new. Waldorf Microwave plugin delivered.

Mixed and stiched with Reaper, the ultimate GREY Swiss army knife. On the mix side of things: I noticed that the kick drums were out of tune back in original loop, and I tried to use ReaPitch, but it sounded even more alward, so I let it be. Secondly; not really sure if hihats are too loud. Didn’t have amy good reference when mixing (didn’t have time).

130.1 bpm og electro. Like it or don't. It's electronic punk.

This week has kinda been a whirlwind of distractions and fun things. Couple of friends inspired by my music have asked me to teach them how to make their own. Slowly working towards turning all my friends into a touring drug fueled jam band, Robgoblin and the Pisstones

Track this week started as a piano progression but the arpeggios quickly became the focus after I mutilated them with a ton of delay. It gives me Crono Cross vibes a little.

Decided to start with my BeatStep Pro instead jumping into the DAW right away. The haptic experience seems to keep me better in the flow. Already made a nice bass patch a few days earlier and wanted to give it a chance. Pretty basic drumline. The pad is quite simple too and wasn't even the first choice, but it's better suited for what I wanted the sound to be like.

Once I though I'm done, I noticed I don't even have something that could be identified as lead. Not quite G-Thang, but the theremin-ish tune seems appropriate tho. Wanted to add some sparkles, but chose distortion instead :)

Hardware synth's only this time. Inspired by early 80s synth-pop. Not sure how to call this, chill-pop maybe? Rest assured, no vocals.

My PC has been displaying symptoms of the motherboard being cooked as of late and this week it has become ever frequent. Therefore I am uploading this right this second as today its a particular bad day, ands its occuring so much I'm sure this mobo is about to go. I am literally shopping for PC shit right now.
