  • Week 19 - TheDaeVolta - Expression
    CC always accepted!
    This week was a bit of a rush but I wanted to try and use just piano and vocals, without formant shifting (EEP!)
    I am not a super strong vocalist, and this week I had a chronically dry throat but I stuck to the challenge! Definitely FAR from my favorite song, but... I'm happy with the challege, and I learned a LOT so... It's a win!

  • Week 19 - Coldsushi - Water
    Keeping on the wave of a cleaner mix regardless of the loudness, more emotional and deep than my usual stuff. Lots of samples but I still enjoyed where I got in the end, especially the "liquid" drop, contrasting what I usually do with a higher frequency drop here I went to opposite with something deeper, I hope you'll like it!!
    Let's see what the future holds I'd like to go back to a more aggressive track again but not sure yet!

  • Week 19 - DESLRV - What Should Have Been
    This is made from what I contributed from the week 16 song, but didn't make it into that. It's a shame it didn't get put anywhere into it. Now I make the song it should have been.
    The idea of this song is that the chord progression pivots around the C note:
    C->Gsus4->Am7->F for the A section
    Ab->Bbsus2->Dm7->Eb6 for the B section
    All chords featuring the C somewhere.
    Perhaps the execution could use some work, that's fine, I'm still recovering from a sickness. Nevertheless, it's a pretty wistful and empowering progression.
