Don’t know why this one just frustrated the fuck outta me. Bassline was quick and easy but everything else just took way longer than what the end result would have you believe.. wanted this to be so mich better..

there's a box full of mending on the green chair

there's a bag full of drugs on the neighbor's lawn

there's a scene showing out from the wayside

there's a dream that is already gone

over and over

like a thumb on the weight

as a drum or a plate

that is spun

out from the wayside

no one ever really spun from the wayside

no one else is gonna drown in the high tide

everyone is tryna make with the twilight kid

does anyone know the way to the dance floor?

does anyone even know how to dance anymore?

is there anything left now to dance for?

there's a dance that is already done

First jungle thing I've done on the m8 that I feel really good about.

Could have spent more time with the mix, but I totally forgot about WB this week as I've had a slew of other music related projects that required my more immediate attention.

Made entirely on the m8, with punch in FX and gentle compression from a good 'ol EZbot octatrack performance template. Recorded into Ableton and with a touch of Sausage Fattener (bc like OTT and sriracha it goes on EVERYTHING!)

This Psytech track came from a vision I couldn’t get out of my head — a sober world filled with silence, emotion, and hidden beauty. I imagined two ancient monsters standing together in complete peace, not as creatures of destruction, but as quiet observers of existence. Under the pulse of deep psychedelic frequencies, they stop to admire a single flower growing in the middle of an endless cosmic landscape.

Inside every petal of that flower, there are tiny micro-worlds alive with movement and energy. Small oceans, glowing forests, forgotten civilizations, distant skies — entire realities existing inside something fragile and almost invisible. The more the music evolves, the more these worlds begin to expand, reacting to every bassline, texture, and atmospheric sound.

For me, the Psytech sound represents consciousness moving through dimensions. Slow rhythms, hypnotic grooves, dark atmospheres, and emotional tension create a feeling of traveling inward instead of outward. This track is about that journey — about finding beauty without needing chaos, substances, or escape. Just presence, imagination, and connection.

The monsters in this vision reflect parts of ourselves that may look strange, heavy, or misunderstood from the outside, yet still carry sensitivity and wonder inside. Even the most powerful beings can stop for a moment and appreciate something delicate.

This piece is my attempt to translate that feeling into sound:

a peaceful psychedelic experience where massive creatures, infinite universes, and a single flower all become part of the same living vibration.

I was listening to an interview with Hildur G. who scored the movie Bone Temple. They played some of the tracks from the score and I decided to make a copy for some practice and the hell of it

Want to develop this a little further but here is where it stands at this moment. Just jamming with some trip hop chill beat.
