Feels like I'm stuck in a "low effort" rut at the moment. I'm waiting until the last minute and then just throw something together to keep the streak alive.

Short term goal: Get out of the rut ;)

I'm in the process of refining my guitar setup a bit. New amp pedal (that also seems to take bass okay - yay), a smaller board with just a couple of essential pedals, battery powered.. Wasn't planning to make an entry this week, but this little melody was recorded when I was playing around.

Had a lot of fun messing around with this one. In another life you could dance to it, but not this one.

Week 17..'See Thru U'

I'm considering stopping Weekly Beats this year.

Anyway, I'm still here and this is my track. Didn't start it till Saturday, while after brunch lol armed with a 12 pack and a white monster I created the outline of this song. Attempt at doing something different.

Hope all is well, till next week, on...Weekly Beats!

not super feeling it this week, weight of work the past week really pulled me down. at least i managed to catch a concert thursday (femtanyl) and then hang with friends on saturday for first practice for an upcoming show.

the main melody guitar-y thing is some blinksonic reaktor riff that i 'performed' some different patches/key changes and it just keeps going. i used another blinksonic ensemble for some perc initially but washed it it into pad sounds. so then i made some simple beats in maschine with some subtle glitch repeats, then texturized with environmental ambiences. it's fine.
