I think this was one of my first attempts at metal, tearout and color bass. But that breakdown. I long for moments of brilliance like that.

Testing my skills out with both the Genesis sound chips, YM2612 and the SN7. The bass line rhythm I ripped from Mario Circuit from Super Mario Kart (banger track!!) and then the rest just followed from there. I think it's a vibe!

Something I came up with on Guitar then moved to keys again. Had Opera on the brain when composing the vocals hence the attempt at the big ending. Felt drums would've killed the vibe. I loved the chord progressions and did think of another potential section but that might just well become next week's song! The Italian part probably translates very poorly but another romantic number about saying you might not be able to give someone a lot of money, but you can make up for that by giving them a lot of love :)
