The 9 years old that do music asked if he could do some music with me this Sunday, so I couldn't refuse...

I had already 8 bars of a synth looped, did ask him to come with his little recorder flute and we did find some notes that did fit with what I had.

Did layer some baritone guitars over as well.

It was fun already with the "Simmons" e-drums, but was on the garage already with the drums so I added some acoustic drums over everything on the last part of the track.

Fitness journey, shitty week, I did "fucked" my knee (it just poped out-in) last Sunday just running on the beach with the kids (Old injurie, ACL) I am on a waiting list now to get an IRM (imagerie radio magnetique? A 3d scan of my knee basically)

I am functional enough with the injury, the inflammation isn't that bad a week after the injury but it is painful and I did only bike a bit (maybe 3 hrs) this week and did try to rest. Was not too good eating healty...

Plan was different, wanted to experiment recording my voice and use it mainly as atmospheric elements, but here we are, sorry for the out of tune gibberish I decided to sing for this week :)

But! I was again impressed with just recording with the m8, I mean it can really do it all, I even tried to use the fine tune command to steer my vocals here and there, what a crazy device <3 I wish I could record my voice while hearing it monitoring with fxs on top but that is asking too much I think?

Anyway work is getting even more intense right when I thought I could take some time off, I'll keep pushing no matter what! Thank you for passing by as always :)

Finally back in the saddle! Literally sat down and banged out the chorus chords right away, rolled with it. Verse is a little odd, not sure if it'll survive, same with the bridge. Still with the no MIDI for instruments thing. Didn't get overly intricate with my first track back.
