This week was meant to sound like some endlessly looping soundtrack kind of thing for some retro game. Everything including drums were synthesized on the m8 with mostly just noise.

been enjoying more old school stuff lately, i like the dry sounds. playstation 2 type beat. i would love to do trance eventually

So this one has done quite the journey. I started off with a track around 160 BPM with only a rave piano, but recorded most of the melodies at 120BPM and ultimately ended up making a 140BPM Tech-Trance track :D

This has gone so many changes and iterations, and all within one day: Starting off at 160 BPM Happy Hardcore, over to 140BPM Full Vocal Trance to 140 BPM Tech-Trance with some vocals in it (but mostly in the build up). The Full Vocal track had a complete hook line and some ad-libs sprayed in, but in the end it did not fit the track and so I decided to remove it and tighten the break and chorus. Some remnants of the Rave Piano are still there, but since the sound of a piano did not fit in at all, I put it in a line that hovers somewhere in the back. Oh, and of course there's 303 again ^^

Excited about a new podcast I started with my friend Vee, titled "Alchemical Adventures", which is to say, it's basically about our transformations and explorations. You can check it out if you enjoy listening to two-hour conversations that go a bit all over the place :D Or just settle for this short tune if that's more your jam. <3

This is the music I made for the intro and outro. I made it on a day when I was just happy and enjoying and playing around in FL studio, but in the back of my head, the goal was a tune that had a cool, deep bassline and high sounds at the end that brought the illumination/higher perspective, the way Vee challenges me to go to depths and heights alike ~ why it's so fun to chat on this podcast.

Four synths were used in the making of this and none were hurt. I used the Osmose (finally cracked it back out), M8X, Iridium, and a VST on the MPC. Drums at the end are Yurt Rock. Enjoy!
