...i have to say, i'm impressed i've kept up with weeklybeats this much this year. i'm temporarily homeless for the past month or so, but hopefully will 'land' soon(living out of my car and sleeping by the ocean in oregon isn't always bad... i didn't succeed at what i was thinking at the beginning of this year which was to move to Detroit, the midwest doesn't like me... but hopefully soon, i'll at least have a home where i can finally setup properly... or even just a little... we'll see...).

until i'm more settled... cheers to another week with yet another speed trash upload in weekly beast mode!

I've always been really interested in the Beatles song I'll Be Back which starts on an A major and then goes to an A minor and never really settles which key it's in which is a such an audacious move

No idea where this came from, but I was having fun with a latin percussion loop and these marimba chords came out. I just improvised them, but looking at the notes I think it's switching between A Phrygian Dominant and A Phrygian then moving to A Major/F# Minor for the bridge section which also switches to 6/8.

It's pretty much all done in the amazing Pianoteq this week with Marimba, Xylophone, Rhodes and a Cymbalom which I've been trying to shoehorn into a track for ages.

Drums are Skaka, and a latin loop and some one shots from the Bitwig stock library.

Other than that a fun patch I made on Sublab for the low end.

Very pleased with how the visualisation came out for this one based on a concept from my wife who mentioned that the Marimba reminded her of a hummingbird.
