HOUR ONE: You know what they say about a woman scorned. We’ll look at the most murderous wives in history – maybe it’ll give some of the men listening an idea of what to avoid in a relationship! (Murderous Wives) *** Most people have at least a passing knowledge of who Typhoid Mary was, and how she spread typhoid to others while being asymptomatic herself – but the full story is a lot sadder than you’ve been told. (The Sad True Story of Typhoid Mary) *** And more!

HOUR TWO: On September 18, 1973, Georgia Governor Jimmy Carter (later to become President Carter) filed a report with the National Investigations Committee on Aerial Phenomena claiming he’d seen a UFO. (The Jimmy Carter UFO Sighting) *** While most pregnancies go off without a hitch, once in a while there are abnormalities – and sometimes those abnormalities aren’t with the delivery, but with the pregnancy itself. We’ll look at some bizarre real stories of pregnancies that gave almost everyone involved a shock! (Perplexing Pregnancies) *** Stories of monsters have been told for thousands of years – but there are a few cryptids that we had no idea about until relatively recently. We’ll look at a few monsters that we didn’t know about until just a few years ago! (Modern Monsters) *** And more!

IN THIS EPISODE: Was the Titanic swapped with its sister ship the Olympic as part of an insurance scam? (The Ship That Never Sank) *** A U.S. veteran is so desperate for financial relief he turns to a witch’s very dark solution. (A Veteran’s Deal With a Demon) *** Mobsters gun down one of their own in order to save an enemy. Why? (Kill The Dutchman) *** A tragic figure in Mexican folklore, she wears white and wanders the waterside in profound grief. Her name is La Llorona. (La Llorona: The Weeping Woman) *** They say if you chant her name three times, a bloodied face will appear… I speak, of course, of Bloody Mary. We’ll look first at the legend, and then at some first-hand experiences that may have you believing the legend is real. (The Legend of Bloody Mary) *** Plus, I’ll share an amazing creepypasta story called “Redemption”.

IN THIS EPISODE: (Dark Archives episode with stories from January 15-16, 2019) ***
A high school biohacker in France claims he created a DNA sequence out of passages from the Bible and the Koran – and then he injected it into his veins. (God’s DNA) *** A family discovers it might not be a good idea to purchase a home once owned by a child molester. (Childhood Tormentors) *** One town legend from 1577 says a giant hellhound killed two people who were kneeling in prayer after knocking down the church doors amid a flash of lightning. We’ll learn about the Black Shuck. (The Black Shuck) *** In a remote part of northern Tanzania in Africa there is a mysterious lake. The water is so caustic that it can burn the skin and eyes of unprepared creatures. And it can turn flesh into stone. (Medusa Lake) *** But first, we’ll look at the story behind Truman Capote’s best selling novel, “In Cold Blood” - and how it not only terrorized the townspeople in 1959 – but it haunted Capote himself for the rest of his life. (In Cold Blood: The Clutter Murders) *** In the story of Jack and the Beanstalk, the giant threatens to eat Jack by killing him and grinding his bones into bread. But it’s not just fairytales that have human bone bread – it’s a reality in the kitchens of some people. (I’ll Grind His Bones To Make My Bread) *** On December 26, 1900, something strange and unexplained happened on the largest of the Flannan Islands, Eilean Mor, Scotland. Three lighthouse keepers disappeared into the night, never to be seen again. Their mysterious disappearance still baffles historians and scientists. (Disappearance At The Eilean Mor Lighthouse) *** According to legend, one small town in Iowa suffered a very strange fate. No one knows when the town of Urkhammer was established – and nobody knows where it has gone. (Where’s Urkhammer?) *** When a poltergeist finds its voice and starts to talk, you know the haunting you are living through has taken a turn for the worse. (When The Poltergeist Finds Its Voice)

IN THIS EPISODE: In July of 1956, the SS Andrea Doria collided with another ship and quickly sank to the bottom of the ocean. Today it is a tourist destination for brave divers who not only want to see something hauntingly beautiful, but who also dare to investigate a wreck that has been deemed by many to be cursed – and for good reason. (The Cursed Remains of the SS Andrea Doria) *** Paranormal author and researcher G. Michael Vasey tells of a personal incident that took place recently where he saw what could be described as a “peripheral person”. (Peripheral People) *** Movies like Shaun of the Dead, Night of the Living Dead, World War Z, and TV shows like The Walking Dead, have made the subject of zombies a fairly popular topic over recent years. And while we all know these undead creatures are purely make-believe, the idea of the zombie has been around for thousands of years… and in the Voodoo culture, they’ve found a way to make zombies a real, horrifying thing. (The Disturbing Truth Behind Voodoo Zombies) *** Sir Clive Sinclair might have been a man ahead of his time. The late inventor created all manner of strange and wonderful gadgets – most of which you’ve likely never heard of. But that doesn’t mean you can say they were failures. (The Inventor of Weird Contraptions) *** If the legends are to believed, you’ll want to avoid driving down Nan Tucks Lane in East Sussex - unless you don’t mind coming into contact with a vengeful ghost. (The Witch of Nan Tucks Lane) *** Where in the bible do we see the story of fallen angels sleeping with women to produce a breed of giants? Most would point to the book of Genesis – but in the unincluded book of Enoch, it tells a more-detailed account, worthy of a horror movie. (The Story of Giants and Fallen Angels) *** Some people collect baseball cards, others coins, and others Pokemon. There’s no telling what someone might find enough of an interest in to begin collecting. And collecting books is one of the most common – but when your collecting becomes a compulsion and you can’t stop yourself, it can get out of hand. Just ask Thomas Phillipps… the man who was addicted to books… to an extreme level. (The Man Who Was Addicted To Books)
