IN THIS EPISODE: It’s #CreepypastaThursday, and I’m sharing an amazing story from horror writer Scott Donnelly called “The Whool”. As I’m sure no one listening has any idea what a whool is unless they’ve heard the story, I’ve chosen to title this episode “The Exsanguination of Burrows, Wisconsin”.

IN THIS EPISODE: I’ll tell you about the sad death of John Sellers, which teaches us that if you must pass from this earthly realm, at least be considerate enough to do so in a way and at a time that is the most convenient for those around you. (A Case of Criminal Neglect) *** In October you can find haunted house attractions on just about every street corner, with a multitude of themes – haunted asylums, ghost hospitals, zombies in cellars, and hell houses. But in 1905, visitors to Coney Island were treated to a different kind of Hell attraction all year long, not just in October. It was a boat ride that, for the cost of one dime, was meant to literally scare the hell out of you. (Coney Island’s Hell Gate) *** What type of person raises a young girl, telling everyone she is their daughter, and then years later marries her? That’s just part of “The Disturbing Story of Sharon Marshall.” *** A man wakes up one morning to find his entire family has been handcuffed – and the paranormal is to blame! (Ghost Handcuffs Family) *** It has happened to all of us. Something will disappear, and then come back later or relocate to somewhere else before we find it again. It could be car keys or a wallet, or maybe an important paper. Why does this happen? (Just One Of Those Things)

IN THIS EPISODE: Think you hear whispers at night? Listen closer. That cold spot in your room? Might be a ghost. If your pet is always whining and staring at a corner, maybe it’s time to move out! We’ll look at a few signs so you can determine whether or not your house is truly haunted, and what you can do if you discover you are sharing your home with someone from the afterlife.

IN THIS EPISODE: The Warren Commission concluded in 1964 that the same "magic bullet" that struck President Kennedy then also proceeded to slice through multiple layers of skin, bone, clothing, and muscle tissue, taking a strange and unbelievable zigzag pattern… lending credence to the single shooter theory. But many thought the idea was ludicrous. Now it appears the magic bullet theory may not be as crazy as it sounds. (The Truth Behind The Magic Bullet Theory) *** Reports have been coming in for centuries even through modern times of a creature in the Congo that, by all descriptions, looks to be a living Diplodocus or Brachiosaurus. They call it Mokèlé-mbèmbé. (Dinosaur in the Congo) *** When it comes to close encounters of the third kind, we immediately think of the tiny gray aliens made famous in film and television – but there are more species than just the grays. Many more. (Alien Races That Have Contacted Earth)

“MYSTERIOUS HUMANOIDS EXISTED WITH PEOPLE MILLENNIUMS AGO” and More True Stories! #WeirdDarkness

Please share Weird Darkness with your friends, family, and co-workers who love the paranormal, horror stories, or true crime – and thanks for doing so!
IN THIS EPISODE: Different races were present on earth in the distant past. We cannot deny this. But some of the races were quite strange – a bit too strange to be believed. Are we trying to erase perhaps thousands of years in our history, just because the facts do not fit in our history books? (Mysterious Humanoids Existed With People Millenniums Ago) *** In the middle of the 20th century, people across the United States called for the closure of mental asylums. Stories of horrific abuse emerged from asylums nationwide. But what happens when you forcibly shut down all of the asylums at once? America found out, and it wasn’t pleasant. (The Unexpected Consequences of Forced Closure of Mental Asylums) *** The murders of a 21-year-old woman and a 16-year-old girl are found to be connected… but only after thirty years. And there might possibly be a third victim connected as well. (The Murdered Bunny and Forgotten Serial Killer) *** U.S. Senator Marco Rubio says UFOs could pose a threat to National Security. Could he be right, or is he off his rocker? (UFOs, National Security, And Marco Rubio) *** A girl is possessed by the spirit of her dead grandfather – and he forces her to do penance for his wrongdoings. (The Possession of Nicole Aubrey)
