  • 10. Tina Maree - Bold Faith, Mindfulness, & Choosing To Live

When diagnosed with Pancreatic Neuroendocrine Cancer (PNET), Tina Maree was given 6 months to live... That was 9.5 years ago. Tina's story is beyond inspiring. She is walking proof of God's love and divine timing. Our time on earth is limited, yes, but that doesn't mean that we need not make the most of it. Tina has taken her life back by reclaiming the "normal" earthly practices and habits that bring her joy -- things like travel, exercise, and family time. This incredible woman has encouraged me in my faith and pushed me towards a more positive mindset already in just the short time we've known each other. I have no doubt that she will do the same for you.

  • 8. Sarah Hart - Motherhood, Feeding A Family, & Healing Autoimmune Disease

I am amazed by the way Sarah Hart shows up as a mother, wife, and influencer every day! And she doesn't just "show up" either... she shows up well. From the way she feeds her family to how she teaches her kids about Jesus, she is always intentional. Besides raising children, she also manages to work towards a better relationship with her husband, carves out time for some self love, and runs a beautiful health and wellness Instagram account. (@youcookbeautiful)

Not too long ago, Sarah was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease known as Hashimotos. In this episode, she talks openly about her symptoms, her original diagnosis/"answers", & how she's found a way to heal herself organically. Food is medicine, and Sarah is living proof.

  • 6. Liz Heit - Cancel Culture, Personal Growth, & Managing Anxiety

Liz is a mental health advocate, fashionista, podcast host, and the biggest Kimye fan you will ever meet. On today's episode, we get real about the fact that we've all made mistakes and that, honestly, we all deserve to be "cancelled". However, we believe that we've all got two choices on how we can move past our mistakes: 1) we can listen and learn & seek out ways to become better versions of ourselves or 2) we can stay stuck in the past, lesser version of ourselves, never evolving or improving. Liz and I believe that people deserve to grow, and that that growth starts from within. If we can't find ways to manage our minds and speak kindly to ourselves, then why would others speak to us any differently??

As mentioned in this week's intro, I highly recommend listening to Season 3, Episode 1 of Liz & her co-host Sarah's podcast, "It's Fine, I'm Fine" before getting into today's episode. Their episode entitled "Cancel Culture" brings further insight and clarity into some of the topics Liz and I will touch on today. You can find that episode here: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/cancel-culture/id1479329996?i=1000494616990

Also, if you are struggling with your anxiety, depression, or any other mental illness, please know that you are not alone. If you do not know who to talk to, text TALK to 741-741 for 24/7 support via text message. You are never alone.

Catharine Arnston is the founder & CEO of ENERGYbits. In 2009, Catharine's sister was diagnosed with breast cancer & advised by her doctor to change her diet to a more alkaline one in order to help her heal. In the process, Catharine discovered algae-- the most alkaline, nutrient-dense plant in the world that nobody seemed to know about. She knew that algae could change the world, and she made it her mission to help Americans understand it... And ENERGYbits was born.
