In this week's SOLO episode I (Sarah Malouf) discuss how to be "conTENT" in a world obsessed with "CONtent". Do you struggle to feel happy and present in the moment? If you're like me, you might feel the urge to constantly keep your phone out and "do it for the 'gram" to low-key somehow "prove" to your followers (or to yourself) just how much "fun" you're having... Or maybe you struggle feeling present because you can't keep your mind from running through tomorrow's to-do list?
In a society obsessed with creating content, it's often difficult to find ways to simply feel content. So I'm challenging you: let's be intentional. Let's set aside time strictly to be in the moment. To be happy. To be present. To be content.
Meredith Griffin, founder of decantU, started her career as a college wellness instructor and sport performance coach. Meredith’s passion for wine and wellness combined with her professional experience resulted in the creation of decantU. She believes wellness is multi-dimensional, just as wine is about a lot more than merely imbibing it. Both extend into community, spirituality and mindfulness.
Meredith earned certifications with the Wine and Spirit Education Trust to add to her expertise. She has hosted events in a broad array of venues for a variety of businesses, organizations and friend groups.

Emily has been my BFF for the past 15 years, so this is was a fun, laid back conversation between two friends! As a MAJOR Harry Styles "stan", Emily recently had the opportunity to fulfill a dream by finally seeing him live on tour. Her experience sparked an interesting conversation surrounding fandom - - Can we (as fans) become too obsessed? Is there a line to be drawn? How far is too far when it comes to loving pop culture? Do celebrities "owe" their fans anything?
If you like what you heard and want to connect with one or both of us, we'd love for you to follow us on Instagram!

Her heart is to make people wake up and love the face they greet in the mirror each morning.

Lindsey Bell is the owner and creator behind The Dinner Darling, LLC, a small business specifically designed to help busy people put dinner on the table with two weekly recipe subscriptions. After years of cooking the same meals, Lindsey realized that she wasn’t the only person having trouble coming up with dinner recipes to feed her growing family each week, and decided to do something about it. With more than 10 years in corporate sales and marketing under her belt, Lindsey quit her full-time job to launch The Weekly Dish, an e-mail based recipe subscription service providing 3 easy recipes plus grocery list and nutritional information to her paying subscribers each week. 6 months after her successful launch, she added The Weekly Dish Lite, a healthier version geared towards people counting calories, macros and points.
Two years and over 2,000 subscribers later, Lindsey is busy making easy recipes at home, and helping her growing community of subscribers do the same.
Lindsey lives in Jackson, Mississippi, where she grew up, with her husband, Ryan, two sons (3 and 6) and wild German Shorthaired Pointer.

The only way to accurately describe Lou Zant is to call him a serial entrepreneur with a deep love and appreciation for all things wine! Lou has a storied business background that started out in fashion, but ended up in technology, and then eventually led him to reinvent the second half of his life and career in the California Wine Country. Lou has been living and working out of Sonoma, California for the past five years, and he has created some unique marketing and direct-to-consumer distribution concepts to help connect artisan winemakers and their vintages to the masses. Just like Meredith, Lou has earned certifications with the Wine and Spirit Education Trust, and together, these two friends love to talk about and experience wines from all over the world!

What started as Cindy’s secret snack turned into her passion. She was sick of either having to sacrifice her health or flavor when snacking. She needed an anytime, anywhere snack that gave her long-lasting energy and was actually delicious. It took years of testing, research (and obsessing!) until her secret snack quickly became everyone’s favorite snack.
With a fast-paced career in finance, Supernola went from hobby to full-time mission when Cindy's father was diagnosed with ALS and her purpose became clear. Since then, she's committed her life to creating truly good-for-you food that tastes delicious without compromise.

Sure, celebrities and pop culture keep us entertained. In the wild, wild world of Hollywood, we never know how tomorrow's crazy new headline may read. But have you ever read said headlines with well-being in mind? What are these stories and influencers really teaching us? After all, A-listers are humans too - with real thoughts, emotions, and beliefs.
In this episode, I sit down with my friend Madeline Kuluz (a fellow pop culture enthusiast and also a wellness stan) and unpack some of the trending stories of today:
-KimYe: What's really going on? Is this power duo back together? Is this all an act?
-Kylie Jenner: Baby on board...? Should we expect a pregnancy announcement from the lip kit queen herself, or will she remain silent?
-Alana Thompson: AKA, "Honey Boo Boo". Alana is all grown up and recreating her image & we are so here for it.
-Adolescents Rising To Fame: How do we feel about the "youths" of today rising to crazy levels of stardom seemingly overnight? Can their fame/wealth be healthy and sustainable?
