Eighty years ago, on April 29, 1945, the last SS troops fled the German camp of Ravensbrück, the largest Nazi concentration camp for women. Among those held there was Suzanne Bouvard, a young woman from Brittany. During her deportation, she became friends with Simone Séailles, a Parisian resistance member. In life and in death, the two women bound their destinies together. After the war, Suzanne decided to rebuild her life by planting orchards.
