What is my purpose? How do I want to spend my time? What am I good at? How can I contribute to society with my knowledge, skills and experience? These are the current FAQs circling around in my mind, as I navigate my first two weeks in London.
With 'purpose' and work at the forefront of my mind, I get curios about career alignment, with a lens on human-design and manifestation (specific and non-specific types).
Oscillating between opposing needs for security on the one hand, and purpose on the other, I try hold space for both - entertaining what a 'dream job' may look or feel like.
Stay tuned for my next episode on Discovering Human Design with a special guest, to further explore this space.Discover your Human Design profile and manifestation type via MyHumanDesign or on the app.

Welcome to today's conversation with psychology student, Belle Munro. Belle was a big source of inspiration for my own journey back into psychology. Although she is many things to many people, she is here to share her experiences completing the masters degree.
Belle speaks to the highs and lows of studying, placement, thesis writing and more - opening our eyes to the subconscious mind and emerging therapies like Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and hypnotherapy. She speaks to her experience, testing, research and reporting on PTSD, ADHD, workplace trauma, depression, anxiety and lifestyle factors like socioeconomic status.
Here is a small snippet into mine and Belle's daily deep-dives into our shared passion of human mind. We could go on forever - enjoy!Share the Joy

This episode was recorded 2 months ago during my first uni term and I am only now publishing! I didn't like it at the time but here goes...
The big five personality traits are: open-mindedness, conscientiousness, extraversion, agreeableness and neuroticism. Each trait is a sliding scale with an exact opposite. Today we dive into each trait and how it relates to team roles and people dynamics within occupational psychology.

Today we dive into the psychology of a yoga teacher, and of my dear friend, Georgia Mort. This pisces baby is wise beyond her years. Her authentic, grounded demeanour inspires those in her corner to let things be and let things go. G has a beautiful mind and I'm so honoured to hold space for her, as she shares parts of it today.
We dive into G's journey as a lawyer, yoga teacher and student. She shares insights on balancing life as a newly turned 30-year-old, as well as her experiences reading people, shifting energy and juggling a million moving pieces at any given point. We talk about the power of movement, stillness, balance, vulnerability and her experiences navigating cystic fibrosis. So proud of this human - I hope you enjoy!

I am so excited to introduce you to my very first In-Joy guest, Dad, or more formally, Dr Richard Grutzner.
With a doctor-nurse duo for parents, my earliest memories of psycho-education start here. As such, this feels like the perfect place to kick off my interview series.
Dad shares his keys to success, along with 'a day the life' of an anaesthetist, patient psychological profiles, industry stressors, mental health insights and naturally, a few below-average dad jokes to keep spirits high.
He shares his experiences working in a multi-disciplinary team treating depressed patients with electroconvulsive therapy (ECT), which is both somber and eye opening.
He shares insights into his early career in medicine, working days straight without sleep or a break.
In this way, we explore two sides of the same coin - the psychological experiences of a doctor, as well as the patient.
Welcome dad, and enjoy team!

Vulnerability can be stressful - activating a fear response in our body and in our mind. But it also unlocks connection and depth in our relationships. So in some ways, it is a necessary evil, and a precursor to an expansive and fulfilling life.
Join me for today's conversation - a live embodiment of vulnerability. How does it feel? What does in look like? How does it affect our brain and our body? Why is it important and how can we practice vulnerability in our lives?
