Emotional eating is a bit more complex than we once imagined.
I too once thought it was as simple as getting rid of the food around my house, starting a new diet, or trying to muster up “willpower” to not do it anymore.
Guess what all those things did?
If you guessed, “Made it worse,” then DING DING DING you’re right.
Emotional eating is an emotional problem.
Emotional problems need emotional solutions, not food solutions.
