Wesley Swearingen - Secrets Uncovered J Edgar Hoover.
M. Wesley Swearingen is a former FBI agent and the author of FBI Secrets: An Agent's Exposé. A U.S. Navy veteran of World War II, Swearingen later graduated from Ohio State University and joined the FBI while it was directed by J. Edgar Hoover.
Quite a number of revelations have come to light in the fifty years since Hoover left the FBI, including his personal life and his almost Monarchic rule over the bureau. In a revealing interview Mr Swearingen gives his views on the way the personal and business relationships of Hoover influenced the entire FBI, from their operations and casework to the public image of the service.
