In Matthew 19, Jesus calls a rich young ruler to surrender his possessions. This man kept all the rules–he also kept his heart for himself. We have a God who isn’t merely interested in our obedience, our God is interested in our hearts. What would it look like to surrender moment by moment to God? Would our hearts remain the same?
