February 05, 2023What Does the Bible Say About What Must I Do to Be Saved?Send us Fan MailArnie and Fred revisit this subject that we discussed in a previous episode several years ago, since it is perhaps the most important question one may ever ask. We start out by looking at the imprisonment of Paul and Silas and the discussion they had with their jailer when he asked them what he must do to be saved. Throughout this episode we will look at various other people that asked the same question. We will see that the answer to that question is consistent throughout the New Testament and is contrary to what many are told today by various religious people. Besides the Philippian jailer, we look at the 3,000 on Pentecost, Saul of Tarsus, the Ethiopian Royal Treasurer, Cornelius the Centurian, the Samaritans, Simon the Sorcerer, Lydia of Thyatira and her household, and the Ephesians. As you listen to the passages that we look at in the Bible, think about what you may have been told one must do to be saved and compare that with what the Bible says. Take about 30 minutes to do that. Have your Bible handy so you can verify what we are saying. There is a transcript of this Buzzsprout episode provided for your convenience....more32minPlay
