What is the future of TJ Oshie on the Washington Capitals? Should they trade him or hope they can get more out of him with a new head coach?

In this edition of Locked on Capitals Dan talks about the future of TJ Oshie in DC. He's under contract through the 2024/2025 season. He's still a pretty solid player but is showing dips in production. According to Washington Hockey Now: "The 36-year-old’s plus/minus has plummeted over the last three seasons, with Oshie registering -18 in 2022-23. His 2021-22 season — in which he played 44 games — saw a handful of career lows including the lowest points per game rate of his 15-year career. Dan talks about Oshie's comments about training and getting back to where he needs to be. "“My training regimen is going to be a lot different this year, a lot more focused on core strength and conditioning for next season,” he continued. “Typically my training can’t really begin until August and by then I’m just playing catch up. So it’s a big opportunity for me to come back and look a little bit more than I did four-five years ago and to have a full season without my back setting me back.”
