FEMA, USDA, DEA, DOJ . . . Washington, DC is abounding in abbreviations that represent massive bureauocracies. Some Good, Some Bad. That brings me to the infamous IRS. I have often believed that this massive agency is misnamed and should be termed as the Internal Reclamation Service because it seems that they continue to dig deeper and deeper into your resources on many levels. Having said that, Jesus himself experienced a profound statement about his birth when the phrase was coined . . . Can any good thing come out of Nazareth? Well the same question could be asked of the IRS? Well, believe it or not and I am not talking Ripley's. Today we will discover an IRS Section that is largely overlooked and vastly unrealized. Then President Reagan inaugurated this substantial benefit to businesses and it has been upheld by every subsequent Presidential Administration since his enactment. Dare I say Keep Your Fingers Crossed, that it survives this President? It is commonly known as the R & D Tax Credit and it allows you to go back and recapture taxes that you have already PAID for up to three years both Federal and in approved states, State Taxes as well.
