Episode 171 of What’s A Good Guy? was recorded before the unnecessary murder of George Floyd. Before we start this Episode I would love for you to join us as we take a moment of silence for the 8 minutes and 46 seconds that officer Derek Chauvin kneeled on Mr. Floyd’s neck. But unlike Mr. Floyd after the 8 minutes and 46 seconds we’ll be able to use our voices again, with our voices we can speak change into the universe, our voices must then transition into actions, whether that’s donations, protesting, signing petitions, getting involved in local city council and using our right to vote. We must not let all the people who died to police brutality and systematic racism be in vain. Our contributions, culture and community won’t be silenced anymore. This is bigger than us we can change tomorrow if we unify as one, the fight will be long, tiring and at times will seem impossible but if this means that our children can walk freely in this word without worrying about being profiled then this is the hill that we should all die on. Say their names. Black Lives Matter. Thank You.
Who said being insecure has to be a bad thing? To me it’s an assignment on what to work on to become the best version of myself. With all assignments you have to be willing to do the work and that’s what we discuss today, the work that goes into overcoming your insecurities. If someone in your life throws your insecurities in your face let them! It says a lot of them less about you! Insecurities is just an awareness take the power away from them and focus on you! But be every mindful of what you allow to fuel you in life just like a car not every fuel is good for you...we touch on all those things and more enjoy! This episode was recorded on May 23rd 2020.
