Father Greg Boyle took a gun out of my hand and put me in rehab long before he created the infamous Homeboy Industries - an organization that helps turn former gang members' lives around by giving them jobs, training and a purpose. Before that it was Jobs for the Future, and even before that, he was just a man with a mission to help local kids stop dying at the hands of other local kids. But he's fought those battles and won and now he helps others get through the same experiences. He's also found success as a renowned artist and muralist and is highly regarded for his art all over the world.
