When shame starts for us in childhood, it dies hard for us in adulthood. It’s so hard to kill when it gets a foothold in our lives as children because childhood is where we learn who we are and how to think about ourselves, our lives, and our future. But our beginning doesn’t have to be our end. Jesus has proclaimed a future over us more powerful than our past. It is for freedom that Jesus came to set you free!
