Mone't is a burlesque dancer, a hair stylist and an activist. She uses her voice to take a stand against fatphobia, cultural appropriation and anti-blackness, all issues that are prevelent in the pole dance community. Mone't misses lockdown and saw potential in what the pandemic could have done when we all opened our eyes to prevelant problematic behaviors. But now that the world has opened up again, it seems so many of us forgot the lessons we just learned.
