For 25 plus years Amy has dedicated her career to providing a voice for those in and around the Mid-south community, while also working to develop a solid reputation as a hard worker with a dedicated passion.
For the last 6 years Amy provided a platform for organizations and those who run them to get their messages out to a community desperate to hear their outcry. Amy wrote, produced, edited and interviewed people for an hour long, live talk show with the ABC affiliate in Memphis. She also wrote and directed a number of 30 minute long television specials to highlight the West Cancer Center, American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women campaign, The Making Strides Against Breast Cancer’s annual event along with countless live telethons.
For 6 years, prior to that, Amy led the way with WMC-TV’s Morning Team to write, produce and present news stories with a direct impact on the Midsouth community.
In 1999 Amy joined the CBS affiliate in Memphis where she was the weekend morning anchor, producer, writer and editor for a top rated, 3 hour long live television show.
For more than 25 years, Amy dedicated her life and career to providing a voice for people. Amy also worked with a number of non-profits to help raise awareness and funds for their organization.
Currently, Amy is on the Board of Directors for Heal The Hood Foundation, the YWCA, and the YMCA just to name a few.
Also, Amy acted as the Media Advisor for Memphis Athletic Ministries, Evangelical Christian School, Girl Scouts, Heart of the South and many other Midsouth organizations.
