Full Hour | In today’s second hour, Dom leads off by continuing a thread he began last hour, telling of former President Donald Trump’s attack on former Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany, who read back poll numbers on Fox News that Trump did not agree with. Dom, who’s generally supportive of Trump’s aggressive tone, takes umbrage with this attack, explaining why he sees this as an example of unhinged behavior. Then, Dom reveals a new push to teach about reparations in math classes in public schools, also telling that Hulu’s 1619 Project will air tonight on 6ABC.

Then, Dom welcomes in Freedom Caucus Chair Rep. Scott Perry back onto the Dom Giordano Program to hear why the Freedom Caucus has come out against a vote in favor of raising the debt ceiling. First, Perry tells of the background of the decision, telling of the suffering that so many have dealt with due to an economy rife with inflation, warning of the negative implications of allowing such a move by the Biden administration. Then, Dom asks about other members in the House, for example Rep. Massie, who are in favor of the ceiling, with Perry explaining why that is and why Republicans need to re-consider the effects that it would have on American citizens.
