Last Sunday, we recorded two LIVE podcasts at The Stand comedy club in Newcastle, people came from as far as Yorkshire, Manchester and Edinburgh to listen to, quite frankly, nonsense.

This is the first of these episodes.

Each week, lee Kyle and Sammy Dobson meet and decide which is the best between things of the same or similar names.

It's a cracker this week.

Lee Kyle (Worried he has diabetes) and Sammy Dobson (STAR of a Palme D'or winning film (For 18 seconds)) meet each week to decide which is the best between things of the same or similar names.

They realised during recording this episode that it would come out on Halloween so hastily pretended it was a halloween special all along.

Then, because of feeling tired (See earlier re: diabetes worry) Lee didn't get it out until the day after Halloween anyway.

Also, not for the first time, Sammy goes a bit odd in it.

Who would have thought, as episode 42 dropped last week, that this week would see us reach episode 43. What an incredible coincidence.

What spurious format? Well, since you asked, they decide which is the best out of things with the same or similar name.

This week, Lee gets his mouth gaffa taped up for a bit. Finally.

They'd had quite a good week, the sort of week where, if you didn't delve too deeply into the facts, you'd think they were successful...

Then Lee informs Sammy that the sitcom she's in isn't getting a new series. This isn't the way she should have found out..

Every week (Well, not ever, since 40 weeks ago) Sammy Dobson (Was once in a period drama where she was rattled up a tree) and Lee Kyle (Former wrestling champion of the Northeast of England) meet up and decide which is the best between things of the same or similar names.

They aren't sure why.

This weeks decision is a lovely bit of wordplay as they decide between catamaran (two hulled sea vessel) and Caitlin Moran (Author, presenter and person with a name that sounds like catamaran if you say it quickly).
