Formed in 1979, THE HATERS have used noise as the logical basis for a rich and fantastic alternate universe of entropy. GX currently resides in Los Angeles, where he continues to work in sound, performance, video, writing and virtually all other artistic mediums.

VIODRE is an enigmatic project formed in 2001 by Bryan Gilroy, Jared Turinsky, and Ryan Horn, known for a surreal and elusive discography on labels such as Hospital Productions, Cathartic Process, and Kalifornia Love Addiction. After years of near-silence, their recent return has carried the same unsettling, dream-charged energy that defined their early work, continuing to push their sound into strange and evocative territory. This week's guest is Lucas Abela, formerly known as JUSTICE YELDHAM - the legendary Australian noise artist known for his precarious and ecstatic live performances, playing a large piece of broken glass with his face. Lucas has toured the world tirelessly and is deeply embedded in international DIY culture. He also runs the label Dual Plover, has collaborated with DEATH GRIPS on their album Year of the Snitch, and has created numerous wild participatory sound art installations.

Jacob Winans is a New York based artist with roots in multiple East Coast scenes who diligently tours the U.S. and abroad with a punk ethos. His noise work utilizes makeshift and broken digital systems, giving a raw, almost primitive edge to “computer music,” that is personal to the point of autobiographical. His discography includes numerous releases on No Rent Records, as well as Flag Day Recordings and Industrial Coast, among others.
