Our White House leaders are taking America down the path that leads to destruction. As proof, Jim began by laying a biblical context, reminding listeners how the Bible addresses the issue of Sodom beginning at Genesis 18:20. There it tells us about the cry of Sodom that was so great and how their sin was so grievous to God.A key part of this account is the behavior of the men of Sodom who wanted to "know" the angels that had come to warn Lot and his family. In spite of being blinded by the angels, the men who had encompassed Lot's house were still insistent on trying to find the door in order to have access to the angels that were guests of Lot! Scripture notes that God rained fire and brimstone upon Sodom and Gomorrah, overthrowing those cities and all the inhabitants.Jim also noted warnings of destruction that reference either Sodom or Sodom and Gomorrah from Isaiah, Jeremiah, Luke, 2 Peter and Jude.In spite of this historic evidence, President Biden has ignored the lessons from Sodom. For example, on May 31st, President Biden signed, A Proclamation on Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer and Intersex Pride Month, 2023. Then this past Saturday, a Pride Month celebration took place at the White House. The New American called it the largest LGBTQ pride event in White House history.
