WHL This Week - Radio Edition, takes a look at some of the more significant trades on what was a relatively quiet WHL Trade Deadline. Hear from WHL General Managers Colin Priestner of the Saskatoon Blades, Dean Brockman of the Swift Current Broncos and Victoria Royals GM Cam Hope.

Two of the bigger players on the move included G Joel Hofer from Swift Current to Portland and F Dante Hannoun traded from Victoria to Prince Albert. Hear from both players as they transition to top contenders.

The 2019 Sherwin Williams CHL/NHL Top Prospects Game is set for Red Deer this month (Jan 23rd). 16 players from the WHL will play in the annual showcase. We'll hear from two forwards who made the list, Nolan Foote of the Kelowna Rockets and Sasha Mutala of the Tri-City Americans.

Finally, Hockey Gives Blood is a promotion going across the Western Hockey League to show the importance of blood donation. Several WHL teams have stepped up to help promote. We'll hear from organizer Stu Middleton.

We'll catch up on Team Canada's progress and hear from Prince Albert Raiders G Ian Scott and F Brett Leason as well as Team Canada Head Coach Tim Hunter of the Moose Jaw Warriors.

The Lethbridge Hurricanes have set themselves up into a good position following back-to-back deep playoff runs. General Manager Peter Anholt sits down to talk about what's next, as he looks to take his team to the next step.

Finally, the Medicine Hat Tigers continue right in the thick of things in the Central Division. Head Coach/General Manager Shaun Clouston updates us on where his team is at.

Finally, Everett Silvertips G Dustin Wolf continues to pile up the accolades. He's both the Eli Wilson Goaltending WHL Goaltender of the Week, and the CHL Goaltender of the Week. He'll close out the show.

Calgary Flames Head Coach Bill Peters is a former WHL Head Coach with the Spokane Chiefs. A winner of the 2008 Memorial Cup, Peters joins us to discuss his time in the WHL and just how valuable it was when moving on to the next level.

Finally, Former WHL'er Riley Sheen has been named the Western Hockey League Graduate of the Month for November. The member of the University of Calgary Dinos is tied for the Canada West scoring lead with 20 points (12G-8A) in 16 games. The veteran of 253 WHL games over five seasons is taking advantage of the WHL Scholarship Program. He was also just named to the U-SPORTS all-star team that will provide the opposition for Canada's World Junior hopefuls in Victoria. He'll round out the show.

WHL This Week - Radio Edition, has the latest on a WHL blockbuster trade between the Lethbridge Hurricanes and Regina Pats. Four players and seven bantam draft picks changing hands as the Hurricanes made their intentions known they are "all-in" this season while the Pats look towards the future. We'll hear from both General Managers - Peter Anholt of the Lethbridge Hurricanes and John Paddock of the Regina Pats.

A video of the Victoria Royals has gone viral. It features the team heading a soccer ball around the dressing room with a wild finish. Royals veteran F Dante Hannoun orchestrated the video which has been viewed around the world and featured nationally on TV. We'll hear about the video's inspiration, just how many takes it took to get right, and what team might be next.

Finally, the accolades keep coming for the Prince Albert Raiders. F Brett Leason has been named the "WHL On The Run" Player of the Week for second time this season as he guides the Raiders towards a piece of WHL history. He'll wrap up the show.

WHL This Week - Radio Edition features the number one ranked team in the KIA CHL Top 10 for a sixth week in a row - the Prince Albert Raiders.

General Manager Curtis Hunt joins us to discuss his team's 21-1 start to the season and just what he may have in mind come the WHL trade deadline. Things are so good in Prince Albert, even their goalie is scoring goals. Ian Scott became just the 8th goaltender in WHL history to score a goal. He also picked up the WHL Eli Wilson Goaltending Goaltender of the Week and CHL Goaltender of the Week Awards. He'll recap a memorable night, and season to-date.

To close out the show, WHL "On The Run" Player of the Week Tristan Langan of the Moose Jaw Warriors will recap his eight point week which included a trio of Warrrior wins.

Kootenay Ice F Peyton Krebs is a potential 1st round pick in the upcoming 2019 NHL Entry Draft. Krebs is having a strong season with ICE, and leads off the show. Edmonton Oil Kings F Jake Neighbours is fresh off representing Canada at the World Under 17 Challenge in New Brunswick. He was also the WHL Rookie of the Month for October. We'll spend some time with him. The WHL "On The Run" Player of the Week is over-age F Riley Woods of the Spokane Chiefs. He's having a break-out season with the high powered Chiefs and will join us to discuss the strong start.

Also this week, the hottest team in the WHL's Western Conference are the Everett Silvertips. Assistant Coach Harry Mahood explains what's motivating them this season.

WHL This Week - Radio Edition, takes you back to the WHL leg of the 2018 CIBC Canada Russia Series in Kamloops and Vancouver. Hear from F Jordy Bellerive who scored the game-winning goal in the series opener. His Lethbridge Hurricanes teammate Dylan Cozens will also join us. The top prospect for the upcoming 2019 NHL Entry Draft scored in game one as he looked to make an impression. Team WHL Coach and this year's Coach of Canada's World Junior team Tim Hunter will also give his thoughts after the two game split with the Russians.

Portland Winterhawks F Joachim Blichfeld has been named both the WHL "On The Run" and CHL Player of the Week. He picked up nine points in three games and will discuss the week.

The first Canada West WHL Graduate of the Month for the new season is University of Saskatchewan Huskies F Carson Stadnyk. The former four-year Everett Silvertip (2012-2016) led the Huskies to a perfect month of October. The Saskatoon native will discuss his start to the season, and playing U SPORTS hockey in his hometown while taking advantage of the WHL Scholarship Program.

WHL This Week - Radio Edition, features another player set to suit up for Team WHL in next week's 2018 CIBC Canada Russia series. A strong start for Edmonton Oil Kings F Trey Fix-Wolansky has earned the 19 year-old playmaker an invite. He'll be our guest.

The WHL has awarded a record 386 WHL graduate players with WHL Scholarships for the fall semester of the 2018-19 academic year. It's the highest total in WHL history as the program continues to grow. WHL Commissioner Ron Robison joins us to break down those numbers.

#BroncosStrong night is coming to Swift Current and Humboldt this weekend. The event will see both teams join forces to take time to pause and reflect on tragedies that have impacted them so deeply. Hear from both coaches Dean Brockman and Nathan Oystrick ahead of the special night.

Red Deer Rebels over-age forward Brandon Hagel has signed an NHL Free-Agent deal with the Chicago Blackhawks. Hear his story after being passed over in the WHL Bantam Draft.
