The Capitals have a solid foundation right now, but change will be coming at some point after Alex Ovechkin retires. Who is the next crop of Washington Capitals elite? In this episode Dan talks about Ivan  Ivan Miroshnichenko, Connor McMichael and Hendrix Lapierre and so much more. The Capitals have suffered for being in "win now mode" and that had depleted the Capitals minor league teams in that process. It's Dan's belief that the Caps shouldn't deplete their farm teams for being in win now mode. If the Caps keep and nurture a lot of these young players, I think the future is bright for the Capitals.
