Who Can Relate? episodes

  • 7. "Why do Men..." with Don Benjamin

In this weeks episode, Don and I talk all things why Men… cheat? Struggle with vulnerability? Lack self-awareness? Deserve a 2nd chance? And plenty more! These topics are very important to me, as I myself struggled mightily with all of the above. In fact, they’re one of the main reasons why I created this show. My goal is to bring awareness to all of the above for Men and try to lead by example. I’m a firm believer in, “it takes one to know one” and I can definitely relate to all that we covered in this episode. I appreciate Don coming on, owning up to his mistakes and being able to share the lessons he’s learning along his journey.

Ladies, have you encountered any of what was talked about? • 5. "Vulnerable Renaissance Men" with Duke Ihenacho

In this weeks episode, Duke and I sit down and talk about what it is to be vulnerable as a man. What that looks like, feels like and how much it's benefited our relationships. As Men, we’re taught to never show our emotions or express our feelings. Because of this, often times, our feelings and emotions turn into ego & anger, instead of simply saying, “I’m hurt” or “I’m sad.” The goal in this episode, is to show Men that vulnerability is a path to victory, not weakness. That it’s essential in order to have a successful relationship. It's a new day for the renaissance man and Duke & I are here to lead the movement!

What are your thoughts on this episode? Was this surprising or enlightening in any way? Men- have you had similar experiences? Women- were any of your questions about Men answered here?
