If you grew up in the 80s, you definitely knew Max Headroom especially from commercials and music videos. You may not know how much further back he goes to a TV movie from England in 1985. Max Headroom was played by Matt Frewer but created by a group of people as a take on the growing use of soulless TV news reporters. This episode is all about the very deep mythology and backstory to the character of Max Headroom and how he was a lot more than just a usage in commercials for New Coke.
