Then, in the second hour, Giordano picks up where he left off, discussing Larry Krasner’s weekly crime press conference. First, Giordano takes a caller who asks who the reporters are asking questions at the press conference. Giordano, Dan, and the caller discusses the media environment in Philadelphia, with Dan digging into the Philadelphia Inquirer newsroom in a hunt for an old-school crime report. Then, Giordano takes things national and discusses the departure of Chris Wallace from Fox News, asking listeners who they’d like to see replace the long standing Sunday host. After that, Giordano goes international, telling that NBA great Dominique Wilkins has now joined up with Enes Kanter in speaking out against China, something others in the NBA refuse to do. Then, Giordano steps aside for Dan Time with Dom, with producer Dan taking the reins, to discuss some apolitical stories including Time’s Person of the Year and the newly released Golden Globe nominations.
