In today’s second hour, Dom welcomes in Montgomery County Commissioner Joe Gale back onto the Dom Giordano Program to discuss the appointment by Governor-elect Josh Shapiro of Co-Commissioner Valerie Arkoosh to a position in his Cabinet. Gale explains why this is a terrible decision, noting the negativity of the continued march of progressive politics in local government. Also, Gale tells us what he’s been up to, and tells what other local Republican commissioners could manage to do better to further push back against suburban progressivism.
Then, Dom Giordano tells about a situation unfolding down in Texas inside the Granbury Independent School District. After the district banned school library books dealing with LGBTQ issues, sexuality, and gender, the ACLU filed a complaint, which has now led to the Biden administration getting involved. Dom explains that this is one of many times in which the Biden administration has come out against the rights of parents, also telling how parents are fighting back against this new push by Democratic public officials to take education out of the hands of parents.
Finally, Dom welcomes in fantastic media critic Neal Zoren back onto the Dom Giordano Program to hear his opinion on multiple topics within the realm of entertainment. First, Dom asks Neal for what’s worth watching in this dry spell for television, with Neal recommending Netflix’s Kaleidoscope, but adding a disclaimer that it features woke politics. Then, Neal and Dan discuss Tulsa King, with both critiquing Sylvester Stallone’s acting in the popular series. Also, Neal suggests the upcoming The Last of Us and a new series by Glass Onion director Riann Johnson. (Photo by Jemal Countess/Getty Images for We, The 45 Million)
